Calendar Etiquette
Include complete information
Give people a reason to attend the event. For example, you could include:
• location
• an agenda
• directions
• what to bring to the meeting
• how to prepare for the meeting
• contact information
• attachments of relevant files, messages, or documents
To ask or not to ask
If you are involved in a group that meets regularly, and the group has a pre-existing understanding that meetings will take place, just book the event. Ask participants to accept or decline the invitation.
If you have a personal preference about people adding events, or people seeing your calendar, review the Calendar Permissions section and Calendar Views section, or contact the administrator for help.
